Who is the Antichrist?

Revelation 19:20 describes a powerful religious leader as “the false prophet who works signs” in connection with a political leader called the “beast.”

These two powerful leaders will deceive most of mankind into fighting against Jesus Christ when He returns to this earth.

The Apostle Paul also prophesied about this “man of sin,” a deceiver who would appear just before the return of Jesus Christ. He goes on to describe how Satan will enable him to confuse people into believing lies and heresies about Jesus Christ. (II Thessalonians 2). Paul also urgently warned about a spirit of antichrist that had infiltrated the Church during his lifetime and is still with us today.
