Human governments have many shortcomings. Often self-interest and greed are the motivating forces rather than the good of those they govern. The miracles Christ performed during His ministry on earth not only relieved suffering and demonstrated His love and compassion for mankind, but also provided an example for us of what the Kingdom of God would be like.
Jesus Christ will be the king of that coming kingdom which will replace the governments of mankind and the miracles He performed during His ministry on earth are examples of how He will govern.
