Operations Centre

The Operations Centre serves as an important point of communication for our readers, members and visitors to our web site. We receive requests for our literature by mail, phone calls, fax and e-mail on a daily basis. Visits to our web site continue to increase, as is the interest being shown in the church's publications. (For a list of the free literature we have available please see our order form.) Biblical questions are answered by letter and many living in isolated areas take advantage of the sermons we provide regularly on audio tapes or on-line.

The Operations Centre staff supports the church in numerous financial, editorial, and administrative matters. Regular financial reports are distributed to all elders and congregations throughout Australia. Our Auditor conducts an audit of the church accounts on an annual basis and an Independent Audit Certificate has been issued each year since our inception in 1995. The Independent Audit Certificate is an important document as it verifies that the finances of the church are being managed in accordance with sound accounting principles and the laws of the land.

The United Church of God - Australia is registered with Australian Securities and Investments Commission and our Operations Centre serves in the capacity of the Registered Office for the Church. Our Annual General Meeting is held at the Operations Centre each year and all required business is discussed, approved and minuted. The Annual General Meeting is an important function that, together with the lodging of required documentation for each meeting, maintains the legal integrity of the church.
